The “Chess Family” portal, available at www.szachowarodzina.pl, is operated by Chess Family and represented by Mariusz Rusek. The portal is a private project and does not constitute a business activity within the meaning of the Polish Entrepreneurs’ Law.
These Terms of Use define the rules for using the portal and its available functionalities.
By using the portal, the user accepts the provisions of these Terms.
The portal presents data related to chess tournaments, players and game statistics originating from public sources: pzszach.pl, fide.com, chessarbiter.com, chessmanager.com, bazaszachowa.smallhost.pl.
The portal aggregates, organizes and visualizes data for statistical and educational purposes.
The portal also contains private content, such as photos and descriptions related to the author's family, which are protected by copyright.
All original content on the portal is protected by copyright and may not be copied without the administrator’s permission.
Data related to players and tournaments originate from public registers, and all rights to such data remain with their original sources.
Scraping data, mass downloading of content, overloading the service or tampering with the website code is prohibited.
Private content relating to the author's family, including photos, descriptions, stories and other materials published on the portal, is protected by copyright and may not be copied, distributed or published in any form without the prior written consent of the administrator.
The administrator is not responsible for errors in data originating from external sources.
Any inaccuracies should be reported directly to the original data source.
The administrator is not liable for interruptions in portal operation caused by maintenance or technical failures.
The user is required to provide accurate information when using the contact form.
The portal may refuse to respond in cases of abuse or messages unrelated to the portal’s purpose.
The administrator reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use.
